Pangeran Siahaan is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Asumsi, an Indonesian multiplatform media-tech company with focus on current affairs and pop culture that targets the younger demographic. Ever since the inception in 2017, Asumsi’s video products have garnered more than 50 million views all across the digital platforms.

In previous life, Pangeran worked in media industry in various roles in a career that spanned more than a decade. He won the Asian TV Awards in 2017 for The Best Sports Presenter category for his work at beIN SPORTS. In addition to that, Pangeran had bylines in local and international media alike, covering two things that he holds dear: politics and sports. He’s also known for creating groundbreaking programmes for national TV.

After quitting professional broadcasting, Pangeran now focus on running his business with Asumsi. He also founded Box2Box, a podcast network that boasts more than 30 podcast titles in the portfolio.

Other than the aforementioned politics and sports, Pangeran has developed deep interest in tech and investment lately.

He largely thinks that he has progressive beliefs on many things except the two things that he’s fundamentally conservative about: hiphop and martabak manis.
